The challenge

Replace the engine while the car is running

The field-service platform couldn't go offline, technicians depend on it every day. So the move from SAP UI5 to Angular had to happen piece by piece, with the old and new systems coexisting, sharing data and handing over responsibilities one workflow at a time, without anyone in the field noticing a seam.

How I worked

Full-stack, close to the user

I worked end to end: shaping the target architecture, building the Angular front end and the Node.js services behind it, and carrying features through CI/CD into production. Always close to the people who actually used the tooling, because a scheduling screen that's wrong by one field can waste a technician's whole morning.

What I worked with

Angular, Node.js, and a clean migration path

Angular and TypeScript on the front, Node.js services behind it, with the data contracts in between designed so the legacy and modern sides could evolve independently during the transition. The interesting work wasn't any single feature, it was keeping two generations of the platform in sync until the old one could quietly retire.
